Frequently asked questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The instant website check is free with no signup and no card, and you can run it as often as you reasonably need. There is nothing to install and no trial clock on it.
How does per-server pricing work?
The Monitor plan is priced per website you monitor, per month. Monitoring two websites costs twice the monthly price, and there is no separate base fee on top. The Agency plan is different: one flat monthly price that covers up to 15 sites.
What happens when the 30-day trial ends?
The trial gives you full features for 30 days. When it ends, nothing is charged automatically and none of your data is deleted — your account simply drops to the Free plan until you choose to subscribe.
Which plan includes SMS alerts?
SMS outage and recovery alerts are included on the Monitor and Agency plans, and texts are live today for Canadian mobile numbers. Numbers outside Canada are not supported yet, so those accounts get the same alerts by email while we complete US carrier registration. Every plan, including Free, always gets email alerts. Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe that number from all PingStuff alerts.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. You never need a card to run checks or to start the 30-day trial. Card details are only needed at the point you start a paid subscription.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Once paid subscriptions open you can move between plans or cancel at any time. On the Monitor plan you are billed per site you monitor (always at least one slot until you cancel); the Agency plan is one flat price. Nothing is ever charged during the trial.
